Abstract: 
Compact Symmetric Object, Mrk 231, was imaged using  the VLBA and
VSOP archival data. We comfirmed a structrue of a core and two radio lobes
as is shown at previous observations. Based on these two images,  we will
discuss an expansion velocity of radio lobe  and  its kinematic age.
