Abstract: The BL Lac object S5 0716+714 was monitored with a multi-passband filter, 
which enables light in multi-passbands to pass through it simultaneously. The object 
shows bluer colors when it is more active. 
It follows a clockwise loop path on the color versus magnitude diagram, which is 
consistent with the theoretical prediction.
