Abstract: I will discuss the clustering of the SDSS low-redshift LLAGN, together 
with a careful examination of the impact of various AGN classification 
schemes on understanding their clustering properties.  I will present 
evidence that Seyferts are less clustered than LINERs, and that the 
difference is connected to their central engine properties.
