Abstract:
X-ray jets in quasars at redshifts greater than 1 should become increasingly 
prominent due to the increase of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) 
energy density. Although we do not so far have direct examples of such systems, I 
will argue that observations to date are still fully consistent with the 
picture in which the X-ray emission is due to inverse Compton scattering on 
the CMB.
