Topic: 1 Session: oral Abstract: We have used the SDSS to explore the clustering properties and environments of z>3 quasars. Assuming a relationship between black hole mass and halo mass, one expects luminous high-redshift quasars to sit on highly biased peaks of the density field, and therefore to be strongly clustered. We will present a variety of tests of this idea, which should constrain models for quasar feeding and the relationship between black holes and their host haloes.
